So, in the production process, how to effectively reduce the aluminum shredder blade wear?

 

1.The alloy head of the shredder has sharp and sensitive edges. Therefore, in the process of moving, installing and disassembling the blade, care must be taken to protect the alloy head from damage.

 

2. Check the radial runout and swing of the machine spindle regularly to ensure that the blades of the shredder coincide with each other.

 

3. Before installation of shredder blade, debris on spindle and flange must be removed. Flange surface should be flat, clean and vertically intersected with shaft.

 

4. The use of flanges as large as possible can make the blade run more smoothly, the flange size should be the same, the flange size is 1/3 of the blade diameter (thin blade should use 1/2D of the flange) sawing effect is better (especially thin blade).

 

5. The blade of the shredder should rotate for 30 seconds after the installation is smooth, and then start cutting after all is normal.

 

6. Flange nuts of shredder blades must be tightened properly during installation. Over-loosened saw blades will slip during rotary cutting. Over-tightened saw blades will have internal injury or deformation which will affect the cutting effect.
